Terms of Service

By accessing, using, or interacting with the Friends Having Fun (FHF) Bot — including its verification system, voice channel management features, or any associated web pages — you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

If you do not agree to these terms, you must immediately discontinue use of the bot and its services.

FHF Bot is a Discord bot providing the following core services:

• User Verification — A verification flow that confirms user identity or agreement before granting server access.
• Temporary Voice Channels — Automatic creation and management of private voice rooms.
• Channel Controls — Tools to lock, hide, rename, limit, invite, ban, or permit users within voice channels.

The bot operates exclusively within the Discord platform and is subject to Discord's Terms of Service.

To use FHF Bot, you must:

• Be at least 13 years of age (or the minimum age required in your country to use Discord).
• Have a valid, active Discord account in good standing.
• Comply with all applicable local, national, and international laws and regulations.
• Have the authorization of the Discord server administrator if you are integrating the bot into a server.

The FHF verification system is designed to confirm that users have read and agreed to the server's rules and terms before being granted full access.

• Verification may involve clicking a button, completing a form, or confirming your intent through a Discord interaction.
• By completing the verification, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and accepted the rules of the Discord server you are joining.
• Providing false, misleading, or fraudulent information during verification is strictly prohibited and may result in a permanent ban.
• Server administrators are responsible for configuring the verification system appropriately and ensuring it complies with Discord's guidelines.

When using FHF Bot, you agree NOT to:

• Attempt to abuse, exploit, or reverse-engineer the bot or its underlying systems.
• Use automated scripts, bots, or other tools to interact with the bot in an unauthorized manner.
• Harass, threaten, or harm other users within any voice channels managed by the bot.
• Use the bot's voice channel features for illegal activities, including distributing unauthorized copyrighted material.
• Attempt to circumvent verification restrictions or gain access to channels or roles you are not authorized for.
• Intentionally cause disruption to the bot's normal operations or the servers it operates in.

FHF Bot collects and stores only the minimum data required to operate its services:

• Guild (Server) IDs — to store server-specific configuration settings.
• Channel IDs — to manage voice channel creation and interface panels.
• User IDs — temporarily, to track voice channel ownership and access permissions.

We do not collect:

• Personal information such as real name, email address, or location.
• Message content from text channels.
• Voice or audio data from voice channels.

All stored data is used exclusively for bot functionality. You may request deletion of your data by contacting the bot owner. Data is retained as long as the bot is active in a given server.

All code, design, branding, and assets associated with FHF Bot — including the logo, website, and bot commands — are the exclusive property of the FHF Bot developer(s).

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works of any FHF Bot materials without prior written permission from the owner.

FHF Bot is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Discord Inc.

We reserve the right to restrict, suspend, or terminate your access to FHF Bot at any time, with or without notice, for any of the following reasons:

• Violation of these Terms of Service.
• Violation of Discord's Terms of Service or Community Guidelines.
• Engaging in abusive, harmful, or disruptive behavior.
• Any other conduct that we, at our sole discretion, deem inappropriate.

Server administrators may also remove the bot from their server at any time, which will terminate the bot's services for that server.

FHF Bot is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that:

• The bot will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fully secure at all times.
• Any defects in the bot will be corrected.
• The bot will meet your specific requirements.

The bot depends on Discord's API and platform stability. Downtime or interruptions caused by Discord are outside our control.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, FHF Bot and its developer(s) shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the bot or its services.

This includes, but is not limited to, loss of data, unauthorized access to your account, or any harm resulting from interactions with other users facilitated through the bot.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. When changes are made, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.

Your continued use of FHF Bot after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
